Our Food

The food offered at The Red Lion is made from seasonal fresh produce, sourced locally where possible, and all made in house. Everything from our daily baked bread through to our homemade ice cream.

Start your weekend off right with brunch at The Red Lion. From a good old fashioned Full English to our fabulous variety of Eggs Benedict, we’ve got all bases covered. Wash it down with fresh coffee from our trained baristas, freshly squeezed orange juice, or for those really wanting to kick the weekend off in style — GO BOTTOMLESS! T&C’s apply.

Our bar snacks are available all day, including our famous buffalo chicken wings, legendary scotch eggs, and many other delights.

Weekday lunch

At The Red Lion we understand the wide variety of needs of the lunch customer. From those on a tight time restraint to those who are looking for something slower and more relaxing, we have something to satisfy everyone. Choices include quick, light lunches including a great range of sandwiches, through to our full á la carte menu.


The dinner menu is written daily to include a good balance of meat, fish, and vegetarian options, relying on seasonal produce and availability.
Our chefs are able to adapt to cover all dietary and allergy needs.

Served all day Sunday, we have 3 different roasts running alongside our comprehensive menu.
