We had such a lovely time on the river this week on the Pub Tub. We only booked an hour, but you can get round Desborough island and D'Oyly Carte island in that time. Its lovely to potter about on the Thames in mid September . The boat is so easy to steer, Lovely … More experience

Pub was a bit noisy on Friday & Saturday evening but the restaurant at the back was much quieter. Food, staff and cocktails were exceptional

Had lunch with my parents here today for the first time and we will definitely be back! food was delicious – i got peri peri chicken tenders, mum had a sticky peacan dessert and dad had a double cheeseburger. we all said it was a 10/10. staff were super friendly! we did … More not get his name but one of the staff members who is from poland really made our experience – he was so lovely and definitely knows how to get sales! thank you x

Interesting gastro pub. Food was good quality and cooked perfectly. Service (although we were the only ones eating at that time of day) was good. Can't wait to return.

A lovely pub, with a riverside seating area which is great in the summer. The food was tasty and had a decent variety, with service being reasonably quick. The pork belly starter in particular was delicious.Overall I would come again, the pub itself is lovely and the staff … More were friendly.

I wanted to write a review after a recent trip to the Red Lion during the World Cup. David and his team were amazing, I was astonished at their efficiency behind the bar on such a busy day! My guests were not from England so it was brilliant to show them a quintessential … More independent British pub in the Thames river… The food was fantastic ( that sauce on the chicken tenders!) and David was so accommodating with our table placement so that we could watch the football – great experience all round and will be back for sure!
